Does my travel insurance policy cover me in the event of a terrorist attack?

If you’re affected by a terrorist attack while you are away, you will be covered for medical costs under the Emergency Medical Expenses and Medical Repatriation section of your policy. You will also be able to claim for Hospital Benefit, which contributes towards miscellaneous expenses if you are an inpatient. You are also covered under the Personal Accident section of your policy.

Terrorism as a result of nuclear, chemical or biological weapons of mass destruction is not covered.

Full details can be found in your policy wording which can be viewed here.
